Registered Campus Organizations (RCOs)
What is a RCO?
There are more than 100 Registered Campus Organizations (RCOs) at UCSF. Most of these organizations have either an educational, social, cultural, artistic, recreational, religious or political emphasis.
Any organization whose membership is comprised primarily of UCSF students, faculty, and staff may register with the Office of Student Life and receive all the benefits of a registered campus organization (RCO).
Each RCO must register annually for the period extending September 1 through the following August 31. UCSF encourages the formation of registered campus organizations to promote and provide for the special interests of the UCSF community. RCOs may raise funds on campus, invite speakers and use University properties.
