Promoting professional student governments and activities on and off campus.
The main purpose of ASUC is to develop, promote, and regulate professional student governments & interprofessional activities. ASUC functions as a resource for funding and assists in the coordination of activities and events sponsored by RCOs. ASUC also sponsors a variety of social, cultural and educational events throughout the year.
The ASUC Executive Board has one opening for 2013-14 and is accepting letters of interest for the Executive Vice President. All SoD, SoM, SoP students who are registered are eligible to run. The Executive Vice President develops and maintains the annual operating budget, presents at the annual Student Service Fee Budget meeting, attends monthly meetings and is part of the interface between students and the administration. Please submit a one-page statement of interest to asucsf@ucsf.edu by May 12.
